Anniversaries¶
The Anniversaries web part display works for Anniversaries and Birthdays (or both).
Options¶
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Web Part Title | Optionally show a title above the web part. |
Site URL | Optionally set the url too a site or site collection. Affects "Select Calendar". |
Select Calendar | Select a calendar from a list of calendars available on the current site or from the site URL supplied. |
Which Events | Display "Birthdays", "Anniversaries" or "Both". |
Event Limit | Show between 1 and 100 events. |
Days Before | Tune how many days before "today" to allow events to appear. |
Days After | Tune how many days after "today" to allow events to appear. |
Display | Full, Compact or Interactive. Compact appears smaller and shows less details. Interactive allows for user to interact with card. |
Font Colour | Set the colour for text. |
Show Border | Show a border on one side. The side can be changed using "Border Position". |
Border Postion | Change the side of the card the border appears on. |
Border Colour | Set the colour of the border. |
Border thickness | Sets the thickness of the border. |
Interactive Mode | Allows user to interat by sending a like to the user with the anniversary. |
Messages | Allows user to send a message to the user with the anniversary. |
Messages List | Select a messages list to be used to store messages/ likes. Also allows user to create a new list. |
Note
When enabling interactions users must have edit perimissions to the selected messages list
Config Repository¶
This web part supports use of the config repository, to allow users to save and load configurations of web parts with ease.
Loading a config file will populate the web part properties with properties from the incoming file.
SharePoint¶
Saving to SharePoint allows collaboration between users in a tenant.
The path the file is saved to is tenant-name/Site Assets/Mercury Assets/webpart-name.json.
Permissions¶
To save a file to SharePoint, edit permissions are required on the root Site Assets library.
To load a file from SharePoint, read permissions are required on the root Site Assets library.
OneDrive¶
Saving to OneDrive allows a user to save a file locally, this is the best option when a user does not have the required permissions to save to SharePoint.
The path the file is saved to is Mercury Assets/webpartname.json.
