Meet the Team

The Meet the Team web part displays selected users on a page.

Options

Setting Description
Web Part Title Optionally show a title above the web part.
Select People or Groups Select individual people or one or more groups to display.
Display Mode Select a large (default), medium image, small image, or a more detailed card.
Expand All While the display mode is set to "Details Card" choose whether or not to fully expand all the cards or leave them closed for users to interact with.
Sort By Select a property to sort by options include: First Name, Last Name, Job Title or None.
Enable Custom Sorting Enable the custom sorting feature*
Configure Sort Order Adjust the custom order of users reflected in "select people or groups"
Select Properties Select which properties to display on the user

Page 2 of the Property Pane allows configuration to display selected users as a carousel of people.

*Organises users as per the order in the "select people or groups" option. This order can be changed by configuring this order be clicking the button labelled "Configure" under the "Custom Order" section. Users in groups are ordered by the "Sort By" option.

Config Repository

This web part supports use of the config repository, to allow users to save and load configurations of web parts with ease.

Loading a config file will populate the web part properties with properties from the incoming file.

SharePoint

Saving to SharePoint allows collaboration between users in a tenant.

The path the file is saved to is tenant-name/Site Assets/Mercury Assets/webpart-name.json.

Permissions

To save a file to SharePoint, edit permissions are required on the root Site Assets library.

To load a file from SharePoint, read permissions are required on the root Site Assets library.

OneDrive

Saving to OneDrive allows a user to save a file locally, this is the best option when a user does not have the required permissions to save to SharePoint.

The path the file is saved to is Mercury Assets/webpartname.json.
